Coach: JB Bickerstaff GM: Seb Aiono
Cavs Team philosophy will have the offensive minded player's coach Bickerstaff to run a balanced half court and fast break offensive set, to have Sabonis and Wood working in tandem creating space for each other's strengths on offense, Wood who is primed for his best season who is solid on the pick and roll and can face up on the perimeter and beat his matchup off the dribble, while Sabonis providing floor spacing with his shooting touch. complementing the post players, Brandon Ingram at the three is looking to assert himself as a veteran and elite player this year who is a master of the mid range, a very talented defender and long range shooting touch. Backing him up is Malik Monk who has a complex scoring arsenal as well as elite athleticism. Ready for a breakout season is legit inside/outside scoring threat at the two guard Spencer Dinwiddie. He can score in bunches and Tony Bradley provides solid backup minutes without changing the offensive strategy much and Udonis brings poise and rebounding with a veteran presence. Satoransky is a solid starting point guard who will control the pace well and feed Sabonis with early touches and chime in with outside shooting a rebounding at the guard spot, while rookie sensation will be the perfect foil to Satoranski, who can push the pace and is definitely the fastest end to end guard in the draft this year. Overall the Cavs have a well balanced team with key players who are ready to step their game up the a new level this year, and with veteran locker room presence Udonis Haslem steadying the ship, the young egos are sure to be kept in check.
